Arizabeth had always embraced the beauty of simplicity.

She and her husband Martin shared a quiet, content life - built on mutual respect, deep love, and the sacred task of raising their two sons, Mateo and Enrique. Both boys had been diagnosed with autism, and life required patience, structure, and an abundance of heart.

Every day, Arizabeth held the rhythm of her family. She guided Enrique through the overstimulation of his general education classroom, offering comfort when the world became too loud. Mateo, more profoundly affected, thrived in a specialized program tailored to his unique needs. Though every day carried its challenges, the family moved in harmony - held together by love, resilience, and the quiet strength of their mother.

But everything changed in December 2024.

Arizabeth suddenly became violently ill. Waves of nausea, chills, and unbearable pain swept over her. Martin rushed her to the hospital - where she was told it might just be early pregnancy and was advised to go home and rest. But Arizabeth knew something was deeply wrong. She begged to stay.

She was admitted, but it was too late.

A severe staph infection had already flooded her bloodstream. Sepsis set in, fast and furious. In a matter of hours, Arizabeth, once the steady heartbeat of her family, was in critical condition.

To save her life, doctors had no choice but to amputate three of her limbs and begin facial reconstruction.

Her world changed forever. And yet… she lives. She is still here. Still loving. Still mothering. Still rising.
